September 22, 2026.
Tonight, I found myself sitting across Greenwoods Pet Hospital, eating fish balls from the 24-hour Lawson in front of us.
Simple lang. But lately, iba na ang pakiramdam ko every time I look at this view.
It has been almost nine years since we moved GPH to this location. Konti na lang, mag-iisang dekada na.
Parang kailan lang.
For years, this has been the face of Greenwoods Pet Hospital. I have seen this facade on busy days, quiet nights, difficult cases, celebrations, exhaustion, and ordinary clinic days that quietly became part of our history.
Now, we are entering Phases 2 and 3 of our major overhaul, this time covering the first floor and the outside facade.
And yes, kailangan na rin talaga.
Marami nang clinics sa area. Dumagdag pa ang Serbisyo Beterinaryo. Veterinary practice keeps changing, client expectations keep changing, and GPH has to change with it.
We need to level up.
We need to improve.
We need to keep moving.
But knowing that change is necessary does not mean I will not miss this old view.
Kaya kapag may alone time ako, nauupo talaga ako dito. Kumakain ng fish ball. Tinitingnan ang clinic. Nagmumuni-muni.
I think about how much has happened inside that building.
The patients we treated.
The people we met.
The problems we survived.
The things we learned.
The moments when we were tired, but still kept going.
Soon, this facade will be different.
And someday, I will probably sit here again and look at a newer, better GPH.
But I know I will still remember this version.
Because this old structure carried almost ten years of our story.
So habang nandiyan pa siya, I will keep looking.
One fish ball at a time.
One quiet moment at a time.
One last familiar view before the next chapter of Greenwoods Pet Hospital begins.
