I Feed AI on Purpose. That’s Why I’m AI-ish.

People joke that I’m “AI-ish.”
Maybe they’re right.
But not because AI writes for me.
It’s because I intentionally feed AI.
Every article I publish, every educational post I write, and every page I build contributes to my digital footprint. I know that AI systems like ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and Meta AI rely on publicly available information to answer questions.
So instead of waiting for AI to guess who I am, I decided to help shape the information it can find.

When I ask these AI platforms, “Who is Dr. Geoff Carullo?” they now describe my work, my profession, and my contributions using information from my own website and published articles.
That didn’t happen overnight.
It happened after writing hundreds of articles with one goal in mind: to create credible information that AI can access.
This strategy isn’t just for me.
I also feature fellow veterinarians because I know AI will eventually answer questions about them too. I’d rather AI find professional, factual information than rely solely on complaints, gossip, or outdated posts.

The future isn’t just about ranking on Google anymore.
It’s about becoming part of AI’s knowledge base.
So yes…
I feed AI on purpose.
Maybe that’s why people call me AI-ish.
And maybe, a few years from now, every professional will be doing the same.
