Key leaders of the Philippine veterinary profession convened at Greyhound Café, SM Aura, Taguig, in a high-level strategic meeting that will define the country’s most important veterinary education events for the first quarter of 2026.

The meeting formally aligned three major national veterinary platforms into a coordinated, high-impact calendar for early 2026, marking a milestone in Philippine veterinary education planning.
Three Flagship Events Unified
The group confirmed strategic coordination for the following national events:
F.E.L.I.S. (Feline Education, Learning, and Integrated Symposium)
Organized by the Philippine College of Canine Practitioners (PCCP)
April 22–23, 2026

Under the leadership of Dr. Geoff Carullo and Dr. JM Figura, F.E.L.I.S. will serve as the country’s premier feline-focused scientific symposium, dedicated to advancing feline medicine, diagnostics, and clinical excellence.
Vet Summit 2026 and PCCP Quiz Bee
Organized by Dr. Arah Virtucio and Dr. Leatrize Gonzales
This national platform is designed for veterinary students, new graduates, and early-career veterinarians, focusing on professional development, confidence-building, and community engagement. The PCCP Quiz Bee will promote academic excellence through a national-level competitive format.
PCVS-CA 2nd Veterinary Surgery Masterclass
Organized by Dr. Paul Cardenio, President of PCVS-CA
March 26–27, 2026
Novotel Manila, Quezon City
The masterclass will feature internationally trained veterinary surgeons and advanced surgical training designed to elevate surgical standards and referral-level competence in the Philippines.
Boehringer Ingelheim Confirmed as Major Sponsor
Boehringer Ingelheim Philippines formally confirmed its role as a major sponsor for these aligned national events.
The partnership reflects the company’s strong commitment to veterinary education, science-based medicine, and professional development across the Philippine veterinary community.
A New Era of Coordination for Veterinary Education
According to Dr. Geoff Carullo, the alignment represents a strategic shift in how veterinary education will be delivered nationwide.
“For the first time, PCCP, Vet Summit, and PCVS-CA are not just running events independently. We are building one unified learning season for Filipino veterinarians and students.”
With this coordinated approach, the first quarter of 2026 is positioned to become one of the most impactful periods for veterinary continuing education in the Philippines.
Further announcements and registration details will be released soon.
