Dr. Kevin “Chucks” Tuazon, DVM
Where Communication Meets Compassion in Veterinary Medicine
On a bright open field, wearing a race bib and holding a medal, Dr. Kevin “Chucks” Tuazon smiles with the quiet confidence of someone who understands endurance, discipline, and finishing strong. That same grit defines his journey as a veterinarian. Whether in a surgical suite, a community outreach, or a leadership forum, he shows up with a singular purpose: to serve, to lead, and to leave things better than he found them.
Long before he wore a white coat, Dr. Tuazon was already shaping his voice. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of the Assumption, where he served in the Supreme Student Council, wrote for the Regina school publication, hosted radio programs, and performed as a theater actor. These formative years trained him to listen deeply, speak with clarity, and connect authentically—skills he later carried into medicine when he completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at De La Salle Araneta University from 2017 to 2022.
Today, Dr. Tuazon represents the modern Filipino veterinarian—one who blends clinical competence with leadership and empathy. His professional journey has included Vet Precision Animal Health Center in Guagua, Pampanga; Pampanga Animal Hospital in the City of San Fernando; and The Furr Project Animal Hospital and Pharmacy in Quezon City, where he served as Senior Veterinarian. Alongside private practice, he has remained deeply committed to service as a Volunteer Veterinary Surgeon with Angat Buhay Vets Pampanga since 2021, providing care to underserved communities.
A strong believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Tuazon has pursued advanced training both locally and internationally. His international education includes the American College of Veterinary Surgeons Surgery Summit in Phoenix, Arizona; the Taiwan Academy of Veterinary Internal Medicine in Taipei; an Imaging Masterclass in Bangkok; and the Singapore Vet Show at Suntec. Locally, he has trained in ultrasonography at De La Salle Araneta University, oncology education in Angeles City, and participated in the PAHA Conference in Manila—each experience strengthening his diagnostic and clinical expertise.
Leadership has always been central to his path. Within the Venerable Knight Veterinarians Fraternity, he has served in multiple senior roles, including Supreme Grand Knight, Grand Knight, and Supreme Knight Seneschal. He has also represented the Philippines internationally at the Asia World Model United Nations in Bangkok and during World Youth Day in Madrid. At home, he continues to serve through civic organizations, outreach ministries, and as a guest lecturer, using communication as a tool to educate and inspire.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Tuazon extends his discipline into entrepreneurship. As Operations Manager of Tsax Lechon and owner of Lahar Integrated Farm, he invests in food culture, sustainable agriculture, and rural livelihood—demonstrating that a veterinarian’s influence can reach far beyond the clinic.
Dr. Kevin “Chucks” Tuazon belongs to a new generation of Filipino veterinarians who refuse to be defined by a single role. He is a healer, communicator, leader, and community builder. His story reminds us that veterinary medicine is not only about treating animals, but about uplifting people, strengthening communities, and leading with purpose.
